La disciplina Informática e Investigación en las carreras de Tecnología de La Salud.

Resumen

Deficiencias detectadas en la formación investigativa en los estudiantes de la carrera de Licenciatura en Tecnología de la Salud han llevado a la realización de diferentes investigaciones, entre ellas la presente, en la cual se confeccionó una propuesta de programa para la disciplina Informática e Investigación, rectora de esta formación en la  carrera, con vista a su inclusión en el Plan de Estudio de las nuevas carreras del área de la Tecnología de la Salud que comienzan en el curso 2010/2011.

Se realizó una investigación, utilizando fundamentalmente el paradigma cualitativo,  en el período de Septiembre del 2008 a  Diciembre del  2009 y tomando como universo los centros rectores de la carrera de cada provincial y como muestra intencional  los centros rectores provinciales de Ciudad de La Habana, Cienfuegos, Holguín, Santiago de Cuba, Ciego de Ávila y Villa Clara. Como unidades de análisis se asumieron los estudiantes de cuarto año, los profesores y directivos de la disciplina, así  como el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la misma. Diferentes métodos como la observación participante, entrevistas, encuestas, grupo focal entre otros, llevaron a la propuesta del programa para la disciplina, validado por especialistas. La implementación de este programa en las nuevas carreras contribuirá a la mejor formación investigativa de los estudiantes a partir de que tiene en cuenta aspectos fundamentales de la didáctica actual y el diseño curricular, así como las orientaciones necesarias para el trabajo interdisciplinario y sistemático que requiere el desarrollo de las habilidades investigativas en los estudiantes de estas carreras.

Abstract 

Deficiencies detected in the investigative formation in the students of the career of Licentiate in Technology of the Health have taken to the realization of different investigations, among them the present, in which a program proposal was made for the Computer and Investigation discipline, rector of this formation in the career, with view to its inclusion in the Plan of Study of the new careers of the area of the Technology of the Health that 2010/2011 begin in the course. It was carried out an investigation, using the qualitative paradigm fundamentally, in the period of September of the 2008 to December of the 2009 and taking as universe the centers rectors of the career of each provincial one and like intentional sample the centers provincial rectors of City of the Havana, Cienfuegos, Holguín, Santiago from Cuba, Ciego of Ávila and Villa Clara. As analysis units the fourth year-old students, the professors and directive of the discipline were assumed, as well as the process of teaching learning of the same one. Different methods like the participant observation, interviews, surveys, focal group among other, they took to the proposal of the program for the discipline, validated by specialists. The implementation of this program in the new careers will contribute to the best investigative formation in the students starting from that has in bill fundamental aspects of the current didactics and the curricular design, as well as the necessary orientations for the interdisciplinary and systematic work that requires the development of the investigative abilities in the students of these careers.
