II Encuentro Internacional de Estudiantes de las Áreas Técnicas de la Salud

Osteoporosis, enfermedad que afecta a la población longeva, causada por inactividad de los osteoblastos por lo que este trabajo se basa en  el  estudio de la osteoporosis  con el  fin de fundamentar el tratamiento rehabilitador  de dicha patología. Esta fundamentación  está  apoyada por  un estudio bibliográfico  como páginas web y libros de la especialidad de Rehabilitación en Salud, etc., así como del conocimiento adquirido por el autor a través de su carrera. Este trabajo reflejara  el porqué  de la aplicación de agentes
físicos, del cuidado  de  la postura,  así como también valorara  la labor de Cuba en el cuidado de los longevos.  Concluyendo  que los agentes físicos  aportan  beneficios al organismo  como la analgesia y la fijación del calcio, y  que una buena postura evita complicaciones como la fractura en dicha  patología; así como también  que la revolución ha hecho todo por propiciar una mejor  calidad de  vida al  paciente geriátrico.
