Retos en la rehabilitación de Hemianopsias Homónimas. La Habana, Cuba.

Las Hemianopsias Homónimas se refieren a una condición donde una persona puede sólo ver un lado del campo visual, derecho o izquierdo, dependiendo de la ubicación de la lesión en el cerebro. La corrección con prismas puede ser usado para compensar las Hemianopsias Homónimas, desplazando o re-ubicando el campo visual, logrando que los rayos lleguen al lado contrario de la lesión. Por ello, se realizó una minuciosa revisión bibliográfica sobre retos en la rehabilitación de las Hemianopsias Homónimas entre los meses de enero y marzo de 2011 con el objetivo de: identificar las deficiencias visuales generadas por Hemianopsias Homónimas.

Abstract
The homonymous Hemianopsia is a condition where a person can see only by one side of the visual field, on the right or on the left, depending on the position that the injury has in the brain. The correction using prisms can be use to compensate homonymous Hemianopsia, it replaces or displaces the visual field; the objective of this is that the rays arrive to the contrary side of the injury. For this reason it was made a meticulous bibliographic revision about challenges in the rehabilitation of the homonymous Hemianopsias from January to March, 2011 with the purpose of identify the visual problems created by the homonymous Hemianopsias.
