Abstract

Se presenta el caso de una gestante portadora de un embarazo gemelar, en el 1er trimestre de la gestación, a la cual se le extirpa el cuerpo lúteo como consecuencia de una torsión del mismo. Posterior a este proceder presenta amenaza de aborto, iniciándose tratamiento con progesterona de 250 mg, semanal (de depósito), lo cual permite alcanzar el término de la gestación.
