Assessment of the quality of the patient care in bone densitometry in the consulting room

Introduction: several definitions of quality of the attention exist. In this work is defined as a group of systematized actions and continuous dedicated to prevent and/or to solve in way opportune situations that you/they allow to offer the biggest benefit to the patient. Objective: to value the quality of the attention of the patients that you/they go to the consultation of bony densitometría of the Educational Orthopedic Hospital "Fructuoso Rodríguez". Methods: it was carried out an observational, descriptive type investigation, of traverse court by means of a survey carried out 112 patients in the consultation of bony densitometría of the Educational Orthopedic Hospital “Fructuoso Rodríguez”. The measure instrument was conformed by 12 indicators based on 3 dimensions. The technical scientist, the interpersonal one and the environmental one. Results: the index of quality average was of 3,14. 89,88% showed satisfaction with the services. Of them 28,2% manifested to be very satisfied, 49,85 satisfied% and 14,21% moderately satisfied, while alone 9,38% showed dissatisfaction. The highest level was in the interpersonal dimension, followed by the dimension scientific-technique that you/they reflect a favorable perception on the part of the patient of the professional's technical competition that assisted him and of the empathy grade reached among them. While the environmental dimension showed the lowest points that shows the influence that can have the environment in that he/she pays himself the attention. Conclusions: The quality average of the attention perceived by the patients that went to the consultation of bony densitometría of the "Fruitful Educational Orthopedic Hospital Rodríguez" is high.
