Abstract

Otros grandes logros de la vacunación, son la reducción de hasta un 84% de los tumores cancerosos del cuello del útero, provocado por el virus del papiloma humano en un periodo de 4 años. La reducción de la morbilidad, secuelas de discapacidad y mortalidad de la poliomielitis, difteria, tos ferina, meningitis epidémica, sarampión, rubeola y otras enfermedades son prevenibles por medio de la vacunación.
