Osteoporosis,  enfermedad que afecta  a  la población  longeva, causada por  inactividad de los osteoblastos por lo que este  trabajo se basa en  el  estudio de  100 pacientes  mayores  de 65 años diagnosticados con osteoporosis  del Centro de investigaciones de longevidad y envejecimiento en salud (CITED), a través del método descriptivo. Encontrando  a través de un estudio de densitometría ósea que esta patología tiene una gran incidencia en las mujeres blancas mayores de 65 años de edad con una edad de menopausia de entre los
48 y 53 años de edad. Donde las medidas preventivas para las fracturas que  puede provocar esta patología esta la higiene postural, el ejercicio físico y los agentes físicos
