Abstract

III Encuentro Esperanza de Vida en la Tercera Edad

Se  realizó  un  estudio  descriptivo  retrospectivo  de  corte  transversal  desde  Abril  2012  hasta Marzo del 2013, con  el objetivo de caracterizar de satisfacción  de los pacientes atendidos  en el servicio  de  rehabilitación  integral  en  el  policlínico  docente Antonio  Guiteras  Holmes,  municipio Habana Vieja.
El  universo se  conformó  con  80  pacientes  pertenecientes  al  servicio  de  rehabilitación  de  Esa
área  de  salud.  La  información  se  recogió  a  través  de  una  encuesta,  la  cual  exploró características generales, relaciones interpersonales con  el  personal, beneficios del  tratamiento y la satisfacción por el servicio que recibieron.
Los datos obtenidos fueron procesados estadísticamente por el sistema de informática en salud acorde  a  las  variables,  presentándose  en  números  absolutos  y  por  ciento,  reflejando  el  predominio  del  sexo  femenino  y  adultos  mayores,  entre  los  beneficios  resaltan  la  mejoría  de
dolencias,  la  adquisición  de  nuevas  amistades  y  prevaleció  la  satisfacción  integral  recibida  por el equipo mul tidisciplinario, así  reafirmando que la rehabilitación integral es un  valioso regalo de esperanza transformado en acción.
