Abstract

Se presentó un caso de un trasplante renal secundario de donante cadavérico de 32 años de evolución con función útil del injerto. Se valoró la supervivencia de trasplantes renales cadavéricos primarios y secundarios en casuísticas internacionales. Se expusieron los resultados del examen clínico y de los medios auxiliares de diagnostico. Se realizó un análisis y discusión de las principales complicaciones del receptor sindrómica y nosológicamente. Las complicaciones de este caso fueron la nefropatía crónica del injerto, la hipertensión arterial secundaria a la nefropatía crónica de la víscera trasplantada y al tratamiento esteroideo, la Diabetes Mellitus inducida por los esteroides no complicada y Hepatitis Viral Crónica a Virus C.
