Clinical case report of juxtacortical osteosarcoma in costal arches

The osteosarcoma juxtacortical or parosteal, a primary neoplasia comes from the osseous, more frequent surface in the metáfisis of the long bones. The compounds are approximately at fibrous osseous textile, in cartilaginous occasions, well told apart, with malignant characteristics. It is an infrequent tumor, represent 4 % of all of the sarcomas osteogénicos. His malignity and metastasis the histological grade determine it. Diagnostic interest: Group of osseous malignant tumors with not much sensibility to the treatment radioterápico and slow evolution. This article shows the report of case of a man of 23 elderly years with increase of volume at the costal left-hand region, accompanied of pain of moderate intensity, that it intensifies at night with mobilization. It does not have a soothing effect with the administration of analgesics. The objective of this work is to accomplish a revision of this osseous infrequent tumor, to highlight his importance in the precocious diagnosis and the conduct to follow.
