Enfermedad adenomatoidea quística. Informe de un caso como estrategia interventiva

La enfermedad adenomatoidea quística es una malformación respiratoria que puede ser diagnosticada intra-útero o postnatal. Es poco frecuente. Las lesiones son de distribución y tamaños variables, frecuentemente unilaterales. Se presenta un caso clínico-imagenológico de una paciente de 12 años que acude con dificultad respiratoria de varios días de evolución y empeoramiento progresivo. Se le realizaron estudios de radiografía digital de tórax y de tomografía (TAC). Se diagnosticó enfermedad adenomatoidea quística tipo 1 complicada con neumotórax. Lo poco frecuente de dicha patología motivó a los autores a presentar el caso, como parte de una intervención educativa para contribuir con el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de licenciatura en Imagenología y radio física médica.
