Violencia de Género y Homicidio en la pareja en La Habana (2009-2010).
Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar criminológicamente la manifestación de la violencia de género en la trayectoria de la pareja en las que ocurrió el homicidio. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y se analizaron 18 casos que ingresaron al Instituto de Medicina Legal de La Habana en el período de un año, constituyendo el 100 % de la muestra. Se recolectaron variables generales de víctimas y homicidas y de la relación de pareja tales como: sexo, edad, ocupación, tiempo en la relación de pareja, tiempo de disolución de la pareja, carácter de la relación, motivos habituales de conflictos, presencia de ciclo de violencia en la pareja, funcionabilidad familiar. Pudimos demostrar que la violencia de género está presente de forma evidente en la trayectoria vital de la pareja donde ocurrió el homicidio, siendo éste la culminación de la violencia en la pareja, estando la mujer de forma mayoritaria en el rol de víctima.
