Tecnología de avanzada en el control del cáncer: la solución a una necesidad actual.

El cáncer en Cuba es la primera causa de muerte, lo que constituye una línea de investigación y tratamiento priorizado por el Ministerio de Salud Pública y Ministerio de la Ciencia -Tecnología y Medio Ambiente y poder elevar el nivel de información de los profesionales de la salud en avances biotecnológicos y su implementación en el control del cáncer. al delimitar la búsqueda de publicaciones que relacionaran las palabras clave: tecnologías de avanzada, biotecnología, implementación, control del cáncer, atención primaria de salud entre 2011 y 2014 que permitieron corroborar que la línea de productos oncológicos de la biotecnología cubana ha crecido, la cual incluye productos registrados como: anticuerpo monoclonal humanizado, vacunas terapéuticas, videocolposcopios, sistema de inmunodiagnóstico entre otros. También entre los ensayos clínicos de mayor impacto en el nivel primario, se encuentran los relacionados con el tratamiento de enfermedades oncológicas. En los campos de la nanobiotecnología aplicada a la oncología se cuenta con una red de instituciones que dispone de forma segura su capacidad investigativa. Un reto en la atención primaria, constituye la incorporación de tecnólogos de la salud a la actividad investigativa, cantera insuficientemente explorada y prometedora a la luz de las transformaciones de la Educación Médica Superior, el desarrollo de la oncología y el apoyo a la enseñanza con la utilización recursos para él en la web.
ABSTRACTCancer is considered the first cause of death in Cuba, that´s why, it constitutes a field of research and at the same time, a priority for the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment. The implementation of Modern Technology and the biotechnology have enriched health professionals’ level of information about the regulation of cancer and contributed to increase the line of oncologic products used in the Cuban biotechnology, such as: humanized monotional antibody, therapeutic vaccines, videocolposcopy, and immunodiagnostic systems, among others. Besides, the treatments for oncologic diseases caused the greatest impact in clinical tests. In general, the incorporation of health technologists to the research field constitutes a challenge for the Primary Health Care and the teaching learning process in Higher Educational Medicine.
