Nasal obstruction is a frequent symptom of inverted papillomatosis, so it is necessary for the Primary Health Care physician to establish a close surveillance of cases presenting decompensation of allergic states, frequent nasal obstruction, which may be associated with this disease. We present the clinical case of a 42-year-old female patient with unilateral nasal obstruction and abundant whitish secretion. She presented hypertrophy of the inferior turbinate of the right nostril. This mass occupied the entire left fossa and protruded through the nasal vestibule, with abundant watery secretion, descending through the cavum. A Nasosinusal Inverted Papilloma was diagnosed, which predominates in the adult individual, and has a high potential for malignancy. Computed tomography is the gold standard for diagnosis supported by histologic confirmation.
