Incidence and risk factors of tuberculosis in the "Miguel Enriquez" Clinical Surgical Hospital

Introduction: according to the World Health Organization pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis or Koch's bacillus.It constitutes a worldwide public health problem. Objective: to describe the incidence and risk factors of tuberculosis in the Clinical Surgical Hospital Miguel Enríquez. Method: an observational, descriptive cross-sectional, descriptive, observational study was conducted from January 2021 to December 2022.The study population consisted of 22 patients diagnosed with tuberculosis in the period from January 2021 to December 2022.
