La educación superior cubana abre espacios a la investigación y a nuevas prácticas en el terreno de las tecnologías en la educación. La Facultad de Tecnología de la Salud, brinda la carrera Licenciatura en Sistemas de Información en Salud, en la que se propone la aplicación de una forma interactiva en la docencia, para lo cual se elaboraron 9 objetos de aprendizaje que abordan aspectos a tener en cuenta fundamentales en la enseñanza de la Arquitectura de computadoras. Los mismos permiten solucionar necesidades de escases de bibliografía y medios de enseñanza, convirtiéndose en herramientas exitosas en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje partiendo de un contenido específico.
