Abstract

Se presentó un caso de lesión renal aguda por nefropatía obstructiva que llevó tratamiento hemodialítico por un mes, pasado este tiempo el paciente expulsó el obstáculo llegando los niveles de creatinina y Hb a valores aceptables. La derivación o liberación del obstáculo es decir la intervención precoz puede redundar en mejoría o recuperación total de la función renal. La hemodiálisis como una de las técnicas de depuración no deja de tener complicaciones que pueden agravar la recuperación en este paciente. La LRA obstructiva debe ser manejada por urología con apoyo nefrológico. Es frecuente la LRA obstructiva en nuestro medio.
